Swanlake, 7 Freshwater Bay, Pembrokeshire is a well presented spacious end terrace holiday home built in the New England beach house style, furnished and equipped to a high standard. This self catering holiday home has two verandas with seating to relax after a busy day exploring Pembrokeshire. This is a pet friendly property literally a two minute walk from Freshwater East Beach which is also dog friendly. Freshwater East is an ideal setting for the holiday homes of Freshwater Bay Holiday Village, located in the only Coastal National Park in Great Britain. All the holiday chalets are just a few hundred metres from the beach. Perfect for families, couples, bird watchers, walkers and extreme sport lovers.
Freshwater Bay is the perfect West Wales holiday destination away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The Long House restaurant serves food daily and there is a small shop for some of your basics, this is also a dog friendly restaurant. Freshwater Inn is the local public house and serves excellent food, with the village of Lamphey a mere two miles away with its local bakery, shop/post office, garage and 'The Dial Inn'. 'The Lamphey Hall Hotel' has an excellent restaurant and 'The Lamphey Court Hotel' with its restaurant and spa which is open to non residents, so why not pamper yourself.
A short drive to the local beauty spots of Stackpole Quay with its superb tea room and the famous Lily pools at Bosherston, the beaches of Broadhaven South, Manorbier, Skrinkle and Swanlake Bay. Barafundle beach was recently voted one of the best in the UK. Historic Pembroke is only four miles away, with its mill pond walk taking you around the walls of the medieval castle. Out and about in Freshwater East
Freshwater East is a small coastal village popular for a family holiday with a beautiful sandy beach which is dog friendly, backed by low dunes and flanked by red sandstone cliffs. An ideal area for ramblers with access on to the 186 mile National Park Coastal Path where the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline scenery can be truly appreciated. Visitors can explore the Castlemartin Peninsula,Stackpole Quay, Barafundle Bay, the Bosherston Lily Ponds and Broad Haven all are within easy reach along the coast path.The village has a public house, Freshwater Inn serving good food and the Long House on Trewent Park has a dog friendly restarantand open to all. Lamphey Village is only a couple of miles away and has Lamphey Hall & Lamphey Palace & Spa both offering fine cuisine and the beautifully set out Spa is open to non residents, the Dial Inn has a good selection of pub grub. There is a well stocked shop and garage as well. The area is ideal for a beach holiday, but also ideal for walkers or cyclists, part of the Iron Man Wales route goes through Freshwater East.
