Situated in the pretty floral village of Penally, this comfortably furnished and well-equipped holiday apartment adjoining the owner's home is not far from the South Beach where you can see Caldey Island. Caldey Island is one of Britain's holy islands, the Cistercian monks continue a tradition which began there in Celtic times. They produce a number of famous homegrown items including chocolate, ice cream, clotted cream, shortbread and yoghurt, plus perfumes and hand lotions derived from wild flowers which grow on the island. A delightful patio area with furniture is the perfect place to relax in the warmth of the afternoon and evening sun. A regular bus service runs through the village into Tenby and if you prefer walking, a 15 - 20 minute walk will take you on to the Pembrokeshire Coastal path leading to Tenby's South Beach in one direction and Lydstep Beach in the other. Penally is a popular village approximately 2 miles from the seaside resort of Tenby and has great charm. The Parish Church of St Nicholas dates back to the 13th Century and is built in the early English style with a castellated tower. With a village shop, public houses and restaurants, Penally is a relaxing part of Pembrokeshire, within easy reach of the bustling town of Tenby and convenient for all the local attractions such as the golf courses, local theme parks and not forgetting the beautiful beaches to complete a wonderful holiday i Pembrokeshire.

Situated just one and a quarter miles to the west of Tenby the pretty hillside village of Penally overlooks Tenby Golf Course and the long sandy South Beach. Access can be gained by marked footpaths through the golf course onto the beach and for those wishing to join the 186 mile coastal path access is at Giltar Point at the end of the beach. The village boasts a 13th century church of St Nicholas & St Teilo, originally called St Nicholas' but changed to St Nicholas and St Teilo at the end of the 19th century when it was found that Penally was birthplace of St Teilo, a Christian leader in the 6th century. The church is also home to the Penally Celtic Cross originally found in the graveyard but restored and moved into the church. There is a well stocked shop and 2 public houses, The Cross and The Paddock Inn which both serve good food also The Overlander Restuarant. On the periphery of the village Ritec Valley Quad Bikes offer some family fun with Trail riding and Arrive and Drive. The village is also home to Hoyles Mouth Cave where paleolithic people once lived and artifacts from those times can be found at Tenby Museum.
