Little Haven is a small and picturesque Pembrokeshire beach side village. With its seaside award and enclosed bay, Little Haven is the perfect place for families to swim safely or just relax on the gorgeous sunny beach. With toilet, parking, and snack facilities close at hand and the regularly passing Pembrokeshire puffin shuttle bus at Little Haven, families do not need to venture far to gain access to whatever they might need. However, if you are feeling in need of an adventure, why not walk the push chair, and wheelchair friendly path to The Point, an incredible viewing spot looking out across the coastline. If the tide is out and you wish to adventure further afield, why not walk from Little Haven to near by Settlands Bay, or if the fabulous sea air is spurring you on even further, continue onto sandy Broad Haven beach to enjoy a well earned ice-cream.
Even if the rain clouds form up ahead, Little Haven is only a short car journey away from local family attraction Folly Farm. With an indoor vintage fair ground, exotic animal zoo, adventure play area, and a whole host of farm animals, there is something for youngsters of all ages, and for the young at heart too. If you feel peckish during your fun packed day at Folly Farm there are a wealth of delicious treats and hearty tummy fillers to choose from in the Ploughman’s Restaurant and Carousel Cafe.
Little Haven beach boasts a slipway to the sea for fishing boats. The local fishermen explore the local coastline and bring back their catch of the day, most of which you will find available for you to personally enjoy at one of Little Haven’s local pubs or restaurants. The Swan Inn is located on the sea front at Little Haven, and prides itself on providing diners with the best of Pembrokeshire produce, from St Brides Bay crab and home smoked mackerel to Welsh fillet steak, Welsh cheese, and delicious home baked bread.
