Self-catering holiday cottages in Cresswell Quay

A lovely little riverside hamlet in Pembrokeshire, Cresswell Quay is an idyllic spot for a countryside holiday. Spend your days exploring the numerous walks on the doorstep, and sunny evenings relaxing by the river. A long, stepping-stone bridge spans the river, but if you pick your way across, make sure you head back before high tide when the stones become submerged. Historically, the quay was used for shipping anthracite, but it’s now a peaceful spot to sit and enjoy a pint from the Cresselly Arms.

A popular walk is the 5.3-mile Cresswell River Walk which runs between Cresswell Bridge and Lawrenny, making use of the stepping-stone bridge, so checking the tide before you set off is a must. Keep your eyes peeled for herons, kingfishers and other wildlife as you stroll along. Families will enjoy a day out to Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (6 miles), or the thrills and spills of Oakwood Theme Park (5 miles). The seaside towns of Saundersfoot (7 miles) and Tenby (8 miles) are also easily accessible from our holiday cottages in Cresswell Quay.

If you’re planning a Pembrokeshire holiday, take a look at all of our Cresswell Quay holiday cottages above and find a welcoming place to stay.
