Make yourselves right at home in this well-appointed, three-bed semi-detached house within easy walking distance of Tenby town centre and North Beach. Tenby offers a choice of beaches plus the usual bars, cafes, eateries and shopping. Visit the town’s medieval walls or tour the National Trust Tudor Merchant’s House for a history fix. More of that? Well, check out the castles at Pembroke (10 miles), Manorbier and Carew (both 6 miles). Book a boat trip over to historic Caldey Island, now home to monks and complete with lighthouse – keep your eyes peeled for dolphins on the way. Little ones will love Oakwood Theme Park just 10 miles away and Manor Wildlife Park (3 miles). And, of course, you can always get your boots on and join the Coast Path to blow any cobwebs away.

Bright and airy house that has been renovated to a very high standard offering lots of space to relax. Downstairs, the living and dining room is one long open-plan area that flows beautifully from a bay window, comfortable leather furniture, wood burner and TV down to the modern table seating six. The up-to-date kitchen has attractive units and is both large and well-thought-out, with everything you could possibly need for holiday cooking. A breakfast bar with three stools is at the end of the kitchen with further storage plus French doors to access the patio. And so to bed… toss a coin to see who gets the master king-size bedroom complete with its own little quiet area flooded with light from its window and skylight. Perfect for taking a break from the hustle and bustle! There’s another king-size and a single bedroom too but all three rooms are beautifully styled in neutral tones. A shared bathroom tempts with a lovely, large, walk-in shower to wash off the brine of the beach.

There’s plenty to discover in the wonderful garden at this property, with different areas making it suitable for everyone – both together and if they want some downtime. There’s lawn, a wonderful Mediterranean-style built-in BBQ, patio with furniture directly to the rear and a second, slightly secluded patio right at the end with more laid-back seating. The planting is mature and even includes a palm or two to continue the oasis vibe!

  • 3 bedrooms – 2 king-size, 1 single

  • Shop 0.1 mile, beach 0.5 miles
  • Please note that the rear access lane to the house is narrow but all SUVs and 4x4s can get down it

Home Croft has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It is spacious, very clean and well equipped. The parking is a bonus in Tenby, though it is a very tight lane to get there (this is clearly stated in the guide though). The location is brilliant, as it's easy to get to by car and yet it's very convenient to walk into town. It's hilRead morely but we still managed to walk in a couple of times a day, with the bonus of feeling fitter for it. There is a Co-op just down the road for those last minute items. Tenby was a revelation, with lots of great eateries and places to drink and a good selection of independent shops. I can't wait to return and would not hesitate to stay at Home Croft again. Hide

Home Croft has been a great place to stay and we were spoilt with the weather so really enjoyed the garden. Beds really comfy and everything you could need, Only thing we missed was watching breakfast T.V. drinking a cup of tea in bed. We visited Fishguard and took a long walk on the Coastal Path to Giltar Point, and then back along the beach. CaldRead moreey Island is also a great place to visit. Great food in 12, Qube, Stables, and lovely salad in Westgate cafe (by 5 Arches) in Home Croft and Tenby. Great to have Co-op across road for necessities, it saved us carrying shopping back from the town. Overall, we've had a great stay. The sun has shone and we've made the most of it. We will definitely be returning. Hide

We had a lovely long weekend here at Home Croft. As a family we spent many summers at Lydstep. Have revisited many places over the last couple of days. Spent time together reminiscing those holidays, and making new memories. Ans the weather was glorious for the Coronation weekend. Lovely home and garden.

Thank you Home Croft for an enjoyable stay Easter 2023. I stayed here with my 2 teenage sons and dad. Home Croft was welcoming, warm and the beds were very comfy. Kitchen was well equipped. Lovely to have a garden to relax in if the British weather was kinder. For those with health issues we found the following useful to avoid the hills. South BeacRead moreh has a car park at the bottom with direct access to the beach. Saundersfoot is also easily accessible. We had a lovely day on Freshwater East Beach which is a short walk from carpark to the sand.Teenage boys enjoyed Go Karting at West Wales Karting in Haverfordwest (indoor). Carew Castle was enjoyed by all and was fairly local. There is an indoor market opposite on Sundays too. Thank you for having us in your lovely home and for the the welcome goodies, Clare Hide

First stay to Tenby and we loved it. Fantastic house and so well equipped with easy walk into Tenby and very handy Coop. Just a pity we couldn't spend more time in the lovely garden. Lots to do in Tenby and explored the coast in both directions - lots of sandy coves and bays to discover. Went to Manorbier Castle (well worth it), Laugharne, Pendine Read moreSands, Carew Castle and Carew Cheriton Control Tower, great museum and very informative guides. Had very good Sunday lunch at Baytree and a couple of meals in Hope & Anchor. Harbour Brewery, lots of rooms - great to visit and sample Ales. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Homecroft and would love to return. Thanks for the wine & other goodies. Hide

Overall very happy with the process of booking, the information we received and the state and equipment in the cottage. The only slight surprise was how busy the road immediately outside was, as dont recall that being explicitly stated within the property details.
